Our History

Back in 1983, there was no breakfast restaurantÔÇôfocused category, really. Then the original First Watch opened from 7am ÔÇô 2:30pm with the idea that people want a Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch restaurant that doesnÔÇÖt moonlight with steaks or anything else later in the day.

Word about this "fresh, new concept" spread, and before long the daytime cafe became very popular and the idea of bringing the First Watch experience to other places was born.

Here at First Watch, we begin each morning at the crack of dawn, slicing fresh fruits and vegetables, baking muffins and whipping up our French toast batter from scratch. Everything is made to order, and freshness is never compromised. We don├ö├ç├ût use heat lamps or deep fryers ├ö├ç├ we use only the finest ingredients possible for the freshest taste around.

When you arrive, we welcome you with a pot ├ö├ç├ not just a cup ├ö├ç├ of our Sunrise Select Premium BlendÔö¼┬½ coffee, along with complimentary newspapers and WiFi Internet access.
