Vital Vittles is an organic mill and bakery in Berkeley, California. Our breads have won international tasting awards. The San Francisco Chronicle has twice named our breads the best in their category:

9-Grain - No. 1 among multigrain breads, July 17, 2002
Real Bread - No. 1 whole wheat bread, January 26, 2005
We mill wheat and corn on our original stone mill, which allows cooler flour for enhanced taste and nutrition.

We bake delicious, organic 100% whole grain bread, as well as rolls, cookies, cakes, and muffins. We use only the finest quality ingredients:
Organic Native American hard red winter wheat
Filtered water
100% whole grain = high fiber (about 4 g/slice)
100% organic grains, milled fresh daily
